MA-10: Potential Trouble For Delahunt

McLaughlin & Associates (R) MA-10 Poll conducted 1/30-1/31 of 300 LVs:

Fmr. Treasurer Joe Malone (R) 37%
Rep. William Delahunt (D) 34%

Caveat: this poll was conducted for Malone's campaign, so take it with a grain of salt.  This is a pretty surprising result in a district that Delahunt has held without breaking a sweat for over a decade.  But it's the least Democratic of the state's 10 districts, as Obama carried it by 55%-44%, and Republicans would be quick to point out that Scott Brown won it 60%-39% last month.  Malone is one of a handful of Republicans considering running, although there were some issues in his office when he was Treasurer that could hurt his viability.  This is a race I'm keeping an eye on that might need to be added to the competitive race list at some point, but it's not quite there yet, especially with no Republican officially announcing that they'll run.

OVERWHELMING ADVANTAGE FOR DELAHUNT.
