One of the bigger names in the Governor races we've been waiting on is in Nevada, where Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman (I) had been contemplating a bid for Governor. But in a press conference a short time ago, the Mayor announced that he will instead keep his job as the mayor of Vegas. This is good news for the Republicans, namely Fmr. AG Brian Sandoval, who has been polling way ahead of both incumbent Gov. Jim Gibbons (R) in the Primary and Clark County Commissioner Rory Reid (D) in the General, but about even with Goodman.
Slight►SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGE FOR THE REPUBLICANS.
