Public Policy Polling AR-02 Poll conducted 11/11-11/13 of 400 RVs, pdf here:
Rep. Vic Synder (D) 44%
Fmr. US Attorney Tim Griffin (R) 43%
Rep. Vic Snyder (D) 45%
Health Care Project Manager David Meeks (R) 42%
Rep. Vic Snyder (D) 44%
Restaurant Owner Scott Wallace (R) 42%
Synder, a 7-term Representative who represents Little Rock and its suburbs, has never faced a serious re-election fight. But this time looks like it will be very different, as an incumbent polling 45% against opponents who no one has heard of is walking the proverbial plank. Griffin isn't polling any better than the others yet, but he's clearly the cream of the crop, having raised six figures in just a couple weeks after announcing. The problem for the Democrats may not just be the loss of this one particular House seat, but there are many Democrats across the country in districts like Snyder's: districts that voted for McCain, where Obama's approval rating is tanking, and voters are strongly against the health care reform currently being proposed.
Strong►SLIGHT ADVANTAGE FOR SNYDER.
