Columbus Dispatch Ohio Poll conducted 9/24-10/3 of 2262 LVs:
Obama 49%
McCain 42%
This is a nice jump for Obama in Ohio, as the previous CD poll had him tied with McCain. McCain wins 90% of Republicans, but he trails by 2 among Independents and no longer gets significant crossover support, winning just 7% of Democrats. Obama leads among all income brackets less than $60,000 a year, while McCain leads among every bracket above that figure. McCain leads in almost every region of the state, except for a 45%-41% deficit in NW Ohio, but the real killer for him is a 57%-35% deficit in economically struggling NE Ohio.
SLIGHT ADVANTAGE FOR OBAMA.
