CNN/Time Iowa Poll conducted 8/31-9/2 of 828 RVs:
Obama 55%
McCain 40%
This is the best result for Obama in Iowa since shortly after he won the Iowa Caucuses. This probably has something to do with when the poll was conducted, after the Democratic Convetion but before the GOP Convention. Obama carries all regions of the state, including heavily Republican Western Iowa. And while I doubt Obama is ahead by this much or that he will win Iowa by this type of margin in November, the state is clearly leaning his way.
SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGE FOR OBAMA.
