Public Policy Institute of California Poll conducted 8/12-8/19 of 1047 LVs, pdf here:
Obama 48%
McCain 39%
A bit closer than other California polls, but the Golden State remains quite comfortable in Obama's column. Each candidate gets similar support from their own party, but Obama leads 48%-33% among Independent voters. McCain actually leads by 9 among white votes, but Obama's struggles among California Hispanics in the Primary are a thing of the past, as he crushes McCain 71%-16% among Hispanics.
STRONG ADVANTAGE FOR OBAMA.
