Anzalone Liszt Research (D) NE-02 Poll conducted 7/27-8/2 of LVs:
Rep. Lee Terry (R) 47%
2006 Nominee Jim Esch (D) 38%
Caveat: Anzalone Liszt is a Democratic pollster. This could be a race to watch at some point, as even though this Omaha-based district is heavily Republican, Terry only defeated Esch by a 55%-45% margin in 2006. Esch has also put up pretty good fundraising numbers so far this year as well. Also worth noting that McCain only leads Obama by 46%-42% in this district; since Nebraska splits its EVs by Congressional District, he can win one Electoral Vote if he carries this district.
OVERWHELMING ADVANTAGE FOR TERRY, but this is a race worth keeping an eye on.
