Strategic Vision Georgia Poll conducted 6/27-6/29 of 800 LVs:
McCain 51%
Obama 43%
Barr 3%
Barr picks up3% in his home state of Georgia, but it's not enough to seriously jeopardize McCain's advantage. Obama looks like he'll fare better than Kerry's 17 point loss in 2004, but the state may just be too conservative for him to seriously contend here. For evidence of the uphill battle Obama has here, voters approve of Bush's handling of Iraq 44%-40%, and oppose a 6-month-or-less withdrawl from Iraq by 53%-35%.
STRONG ADVANTAGE FOR McCAIN.
