Rasmussen Rhode Island Poll conducted 7/1 of 500 LVs:
Sen. Jack Reed (D) 72%
2002 Sen. Nominee Bob Tingle (R) 20%
In 2002, Reed nearly won the biggest margin of any Senator with a major party challenger, beating Tingle 78%-22%, but Chuck Hagel (R-NE) actually bested him by winning with a ridiculous 83%-15% margin. In 2004, the biggest winner was actually John McCain, who was re-elected to his AZ Senate seat 77%-21%. In 2006, the biggest winner was Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME), who won 74%-21%. This year, it looks like Reed is the frontrunner for this "title."
OVERWHELMING ADVANTAGE FOR REED.
