Rasmussen North Carolina Poll conducted 3/20 of 500 LVs:
McCain 50%
Clinton 34%
McCain 51%
Obama 42%
Democrats can take heart in the Nevada numbers, while Republicans have to be encouraged by these results. While North Carolina is unlikely to go Democratic this year, McCain will want to win the state's 15 EVs without having to spend a lot of money-these numbers indicate that's possible. McCain is viewed favorably by a healthy 62%, while Obama is sitting at 48% and Clinton is struggling at 38%. It remains to be seen if the numbers for Clinton and Obama improve as they campaign here for the state's May primary.
